Guest Accommodations Policy:
All guest rooms, common areas
and the grounds are entirely Nonsmoking, in
consideration of all our guests, our fragile
environment and fire danger. We appreciate your cooperation.
Check-in time is 2 pm, however you are
welcome to arrive earlier if your plans permit and enjoy
the grounds. Check-out time is
11 am; late departures can often be accommodated, however
please make prior arrangements if you need to depart
after 11 am.
Many amenities are available for
free: These include binoculars and spotting scope
(deposit required), books, magazines, games and puzzles, and on property walking trail.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy:
Overnight reservations are requested
at least 14 days prior to your arrival. Please note that
many reservations are made 6-12 months in advance during
peak periods, holidays and special events, so we
recommend you book as early as possible to secure your
first choice availability. Unless the reservation
has been confirmed, all quoted rates subject to any rate
changes.
Reservations must be secured by credit
card or personal check in the amount of a deposit of 1/2
of your stay, or the first nights' lodging, whichever is
greater. The remaining balance will be billed upon your
arrival and paid with cash, personal check (US only) or
traveller's check. Cancellations may be made up to 14 days prior
to arrival with full refund. Cancellations 13 days or less prior
to your scheduled arrival will be charged 1/2 of the
deposit amount. Day of arrival cancellations, no-shows
and early departures will be charged for the entire
reserved stay unless the room nights can be rebooked.
Payment types accepted are Personal Check, Traveler's
Check or Cash.
Fire and Ice Lodging IS THE PERFECT
GETAWAY FROM THE DEMANDS OF THE OUTSIDE WORLD...HOWEVER,
WE UNDERSTAND THE REAL WORLD SOMETIMES INTRUDES. WE
REGRET WE CANNOT PROVIDE FULL REFUNDS FOR LAST MINUTE
CANCELLATIONS.
A 2 night minimum is required on
summer season weekends and during holidays and special
events.
